Inmarsats\u2019 official statement is:<\/p>\n
“On 30th June 2015 another leap second will be added to the GPS system aligning the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) to the mean solar time.”<\/p>\n
Important Notice<\/h4>\n
This planned maintenance will impact all IsatPhone Pro units running firmware versions older than 5.3.0*.<\/strong><\/p>\n
To check your firmware version on the IsatPhone Pro unit select Menu > Settings>About>Firmware Version<\/p>\n
If your IsatPhone Pro has a firmware version of 5.3.0 or newer, no action is needed.<\/p>\n
If your IsatPhone Pro has a firmware version older than 5.3.0, you will need to visit Network Innovations IsatPhone Pro support page to update your firmware using Inmarsat Release Notes 5.8.0 or visit our previous Inmarsat blog post here <\/a>before 30th June, 2015.<\/p>\n
