Others are already in their cars re-enacting an episode of the Wacky Races in a bid to be in Japan in a few weeks time. All share the same goal- wanting to be part of the action. With less than a month to go however information is scarce on the ground and many fans might just be more comfortable sitting in a pub. The fanzone for Yokohama is situated in Rinko Park &#8211; an almost 30 minute walk from the stadium for example.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>Find a Pub?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A quick look at pubs in Yokohama and there are some obvious names that stand out. Nobody will have difficulties understanding what\u2019s on offer at establishments like:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Celts Irish Pub<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Benny\u2019s American Bar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Green Sheep Irish Pub<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Tavern British Pub<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wyvern Scottish Gastropub<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even the \u2018World of Beer Museum\u2019 which is actually a bar will attract the attention of rugby fans. Shakespeare did ask however \u2018what\u2019s in a name?\u2019. He clearly had Japan in mind. Take for example the following- how many of these would you think offered an oasis for a thirsty rugby fan?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jingle<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stokes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tirtha<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Towser<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oeuf<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yet they are all bars worth visiting. In fact there are well over 100 bars worth visiting as long as you know what to look for. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t expect too much help from bar websites either. Take <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">JC\u2019s Bar<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> near Chinatown in Yokohama. The only English on the site states it\u2019s a \u2018bar stool supplier\u2019. Jokes on you apparently- it\u2019s a standing bar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Or take the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cable Car<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bar. Only 3 mins walk from Yokohama Stadium it\u2019s styled on a 19th century American saloon bar complete with an 18-metre counter for slinging shots cowboy-style. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or check-out the funky decor of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/neo49.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neo 49<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (or is that Neo 4 &amp; 9?) 10 mins from the stadium- so cool they even have a Harley-themed blog.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15 minutes out from the stadium and your choices expand even more- the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.7-oaths.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7-Oaths<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a rugby-themed sports bar while <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/nogeburaisen\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Buraisen<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> offers you a chance to hang out in a pirate-themed bar. In fact we know you won\u2019t have been the only foreigner to make it that far- this guy left <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JKizUP-HZ0k\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">evidence<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While we know you\u2019ll be more discreet at Mobal we still hope you make use our Yokohama Pub Guide.
