Discounted Bus Travel in Central Japan for Expats

 

Residents of central Japan know that it’s one of the most beautiful areas in the whole country, especially at this time of year! If you’ve always longed to see the ‘Japanese Alps’ in the snow, then we have good news.  

 

Expats in Japan can get discounted bus travel all around central Japan’s ‘Dragon Route’ from now until the end of March 2023! That means that the stunning scenery at Kanazawa, Matsumoto and Takayama are only a bus ride away.  

 

The Shoryudo bus pass gives you unlimited travel around the region for a set number of days, ranging from locality-specific 3-day passes from ¥8,000, to a ‘wide area’ 5-day pass that covers the whole region for ¥14,000. There are even discounted child rates too! 

 

Pass holders can get discounts on further selected routes at around 20% off the usual prices.
