Owned the 3210 phone for several months. Can’t use it because it is asking for a phone unlock password which I never even setup. Result. I don’t have a phone to use when I travel and you don’t get any money! So, how can the phone unlock be reset or how can I access the phone now?

Hey, I got a samsung E3210 today and had no idea how to do most things on it! Do you know how to turn volume up and down?

    1. Jared

      Hi Sarah,

Thanks for purchasing a Mobal Classic phone from us, I’m sorry that you’re having trouble getting to know your new phone. I have included a link to a quick start guide that we are close to completing but isn’t sent out with our phones yet.

It includes instructions on how to turn volume up and down.

      Adjust the volume

Adjust the volume of your ringtone:
Menu > Settings > Sound Profiles > Select Profile >
Edit > Volume > Call Alert
Scroll left to decrease and scroll right to increase volume
      Save

Adjust the volume during a call:
Scroll down to decrease volume or up to increase volume on the
      navigation key.

Without a full manual, how am I supposed to use the features, especially Security? Under Settings\ Security there are Phone Lock, SIM lock, PIN lock and Privacy Lock, Fixed dialling mode and Change Password, Change PIN, Change PIN2, and Mobile tracker. I simply want to have a passcode for entry when I start up the phone. Do I use Phone, SIM, PIN or Privacy Lock? Is the Password my PUK? Can I use less than 8 digits for an entry passcode? I am loath to monkey around with PIN and SIM because I am aware that I could prevent my own access if not careful, or even destroy the SIM. Help please Mobal!

Same question as was asked in May 2013. ARE YOU THERE?

Apologies we must of missed this one, to set a phone lock that asks you for a pin on phone start up you select the Phone Lock Option

Menu > Settings > Security > Phone Lock

You then enter a password of your choosing between 4 & 8 digits, you will be prompted to enter the pass code again to validate.

The phone lock will then activate and on start up will request the code before allowing access.

          I hope this helps.

          Thanks

          Jared
